Day 1: The Gateway to the Clouds

Arrive at Guwahati Airport (GAU) or Railway Station. Your driver will meet you for the scenic 3-hour drive to Shillong. En route, stop at the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani), where you can enjoy optional water sports or simply soak in the views. Upon arrival in Shillong, visit the Don Bosco Museum and Ward’s Lake. Spend your evening exploring the vibrant Police Bazar for local bamboo crafts and winter wear.

Day 2: The Wettest Place on Earth (Cherrapunji)

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji (Sohra). On the way, stop at the Elephant Falls and the Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint (famous for zip-lining). Explore the spectacular Nohkalikai Falls (India's tallest plunge fall), the Seven Sisters Falls, and the Mawsmai or Arwah Caves, known for their ancient fossils and limestone formations. Return to Shillong or stay overnight in the misty cliffs of Cherrapunji.

Day 3: Asia’s Cleanest Village & Crystal Waters

Embark on a day trip to Mawlynnong, awarded as the cleanest village in Asia. Walk through the "God’s Own Garden" and take a short hike to the Riwai Single Decker Living Root Bridge. Afterward, drive to Dawki to see the Umngot River, world-famous for its glass-like transparent water. Enjoy a boat ride that feels like you're floating in mid-air before visiting the India-Bangladesh border (Tamabil).

Day 4: Panoramic Vistas & Departure

Visit the Shillong Peak (Laitkor Peak) for a panoramic bird’s-eye view of the city and the distant plains of Bangladesh. If time permits, stop at the Laitlum Canyons, a hidden gem offering breathtaking views of deep V-shaped gorges. Finally, drive back to Guwahati for your drop-off at the Airport or Railway Station.
