Arrive at the Shimla Volvo bus stand in the morning, where our local transport will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in and freshening up, the rest of the day is dedicated to exploring the heart of Shimla. Begin your heritage walk at The Ridge, a spacious open area offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and housing the iconic Christ Church. Stroll down the bustling Mall Road, the main thoroughfare where you can enjoy local cafes, browse for souvenirs, and soak in the old-world charm. Conclude your day with a satisfying dinner at your hotel.
Today, embark on an exciting day excursion to Kufri, a small hill station known as the winter sports capital. The drive itself is beautiful, passing through the dense forests of the Green Valley. In Kufri, you will have time to explore the area, which often includes a visit to the Himalayan Nature Park (or Zoo area) and Fun World. After returning to Shimla, your local sightseeing continues with a visit to Jakhoo Temple, the highest point in Shimla. Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, you can reach the summit by road transport to witness the colossal 108-foot statue and enjoy unparalleled aerial views of the town before heading back for dinner.
Enjoy a final relaxing breakfast at your hotel. The morning is free for you to explore Shimla at your own pace. You may choose to revisit the charming Lakkar Bazaar (Wooden Market) near the Ridge for some last-minute shopping for unique wooden handicrafts or visit the beautiful Viceregal Lodge (Indian Institute of Advanced Study) for a historical tour (optional, time permitting). In the afternoon, check out from the hotel. Our transport will transfer you from the hotel to the Shimla Volvo bus stand, where you will board your comfortable AC Volvo/Bus for the overnight return journey to Delhi.
