Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Guptkashi/Sitapur & Preparation

Arrive in the picturesque town of Guptkashi or Sitapur in the morning. After being transferred to your hotel, take the day to rest and acclimatize to the higher altitude. This is a crucial day for preparation; our Trip Captain will assist you with the mandatory Yatra Registration and provide a briefing for the trek ahead. If time permits, you can visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple in Guptkashi, which carries a similar spiritual aura to the one in Kashi. Spend a quiet evening by the river followed by a warm dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: The Sacred Ascent – Trek to Kedarnath

After an early breakfast, you will be driven to Sonprayag. From here, you will take a local shuttle to Gaurikund, the starting point of your 16-20 km trek. As you begin your ascent toward the Kedarnath Temple, you will be surrounded by majestic peaks and the rhythmic chants of fellow pilgrims. The trail offers breathtaking views of the Mandakini Valley and roaring waterfalls. Upon reaching the top in the evening, check into your camp or dormitory near the temple. Witness the soul-stirring Evening Aarti as the temple glows against the Himalayan sunset—a moment of pure divine bliss.

Day 3: Divine Darshan & Descent to the Base

Wake up before dawn to witness the 'Abhishek' or the morning rituals at the shrine. After a peaceful Darshan of the Jyotirlinga, take some time to explore the surroundings, including the Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi and the Bhairav Nath Temple, which offers a panoramic view of the valley. Following breakfast, begin your trek back down to Gaurikund. The descent offers a different perspective of the stunning landscape. Upon reaching the base, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guptkashi or Sitapur for a well-deserved hot dinner and a comfortable night's rest.

Day 4: Departure to Delhi – Carrying the Divine Blessings

Enjoy your final breakfast in the mountains while soaking in the serene views of the Garhwal range. Take the morning to relax or capture a few final photographs of the beautiful landscape. After checking out from the hotel, you will board your AC Deluxe Bus or Tempo Traveller for the return journey. As you drive back towards the plains, carry with you the profound peace and spiritual energy of Lord Shiva's abode. Arrive back in Delhi the following morning with memories to last a lifetime.
