Day-wise Itinerary
Arrive at Srinagar International Airport (SXR), where you will be greeted and transferred to a Deluxe Houseboat on Dal Lake. After a warm Kashmiri welcome, enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride. Drift past floating gardens and see the unique way of life on the water. Spend your evening relaxing on the carved cedar-wood deck as the stars reflect on the lake.
Check out from the houseboat and move to your hotel. Today is dedicated to the architectural wonders of the Mughals. Visit Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (The Abode of Love). Later, climb up to the Shankaracharya Temple for a 360-degree view of Srinagar and the Jhelum River.
Drive to Gulmarg, known as the "Meadow of Flowers." Check into your hotel/cottage and head straight for the Gondola Base Station. You can take the cable car to Phase 1 or Phase 2 for a world-class view of the Himalayan peaks. If traveling in winter, this is your chance for skiing or sledding; in summer, enjoy the lush golf courses.
Travel toward Pahalgam. Along the way, visit the Pampore Saffron Fields and the 1,100-year-old Awantipura Ruins. Upon reaching Pahalgam, check into your hotel. Spend your evening walking along the banks of the Lidder River, famous for its crystal-clear blue water and trout.
Spend your morning exploring the local valleys of Pahalgam. You can hire a local union taxi to visit Betaab Valley (named after the Bollywood hit) or Aru Valley. In the afternoon, drive back to Srinagar. Spend your last evening shopping for authentic walnuts, saffron, and Pashmina shawls in the local bazaars.
After a final Kashmiri breakfast, our representative will transfer you back to Srinagar Airport for your return flight, marking the end of your soulful journey through the valley.
