Day-wise Itinerary
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP). Begin your scenic ascent to Gangtok (125 km / 4.5 hours). After check-in, spend your evening at MG Marg, the heartbeat of the city. Enjoy the local cafes and prepare for the high-altitude days ahead.
- Excursion to Tsomgo Lake (Changu), a glacial lake held sacred by the Sikkimese. Continue to the New Baba Mandir, a shrine with a legendary history of the Indian Army. Optional visit to Nathula Pass (Indo-China Border) is possible depending on permit availability.
Check out and drive to Lachen (8,800 ft). Stop at the Seven Sisters Waterfalls and the Singhik View Point for a glimpse of the peaks. The landscape transforms from lush green to rugged pine as you reach the remote village of Lachen.
A pre-dawn start for Gurudongmar Lake ($17,800$ ft), one of the highest and most stunning lakes in the world. After taking in the spiritual views, return to Lachen for lunch and then drive to the beautiful village of Lachung.
Visit the Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft), known for its rhododendrons and natural Hot Springs. For snow lovers, an optional trip to Zero Point can be added. In the afternoon, begin the long but scenic drive back to Gangtok.
Drive toward Pelling in West Sikkim (130km / hours). En route, visit the Buddha Park in Ravangla. Upon arrival in Pelling, visit the Pelling Skywalk and the Chenrezig Statue for a magnificent view of the Kanchenjunga range.
Visit the Pemayangtse Monastery and the Rabdentse Ruins (the ancient capital of Sikkim). Later, drive down to NJP or Bagdogra (135 km / 5 hours) for your onward journey home.

- Transportation: Private or Shared vehicle for 7 days. (Note: Non-AC vehicles are used in hills for safety and performance).
- Permits: All mandatory RAP and PAP permits for North Sikkim and Tsomgo Lake.
- Driver & Road Costs: Fuel, Driver Allowance, Tolls, and Parking Fees.
- Primary Travel: Airfare or Train tickets to/from Bagdogra (IXB) or NJP.
- High-Altitude Excursion: Nathula Pass and Zero Point require extra charges (approx. ₹3,000–₹6,000 per vehicle) paid locally.
- Entry Fees: Tickets for Pelling Skywalk, Ropeway, and various Monasteries.
- Lunch & Dinner: Meals other than breakfast (except for the 2 dinners in North Sikkim).
